Hi, My Name is Sister Monson!

We received this fun email Wednesday evening about 9:00pm. So happy to hear from her!

Hello!
       I'm alive... I think...
This all seems a little bit surreal and I can't really tell you what I think about it all, because it is all quite overwhelming!
I'm happy enough, confused, but happy!
My companion is Sister Belliston and she is super cool. She's from San Antonio.
I am excited to be here, I know I'll start missing home in a few days, but I know it will all be okay.
I have a name badge and everything, which makes me pretty much a real missionary!
There are five sisters going to Tacoma, and I haven't discovered any Elders, but maybe there will be some eventually!
I love the gospel so much and I am literally so excited to get out and share it! This will be quite an adventure!
I think P-day is Tuesday or Wednesday, so we'll see when I get to tell you all about my grand adventure!
I love you all and I look forward to writing more to you later, but for now, just know that I love you!
                               All my love,
                                     Sister Megan Monson

The drop off... MTC Provo

We had a wonderful tender mercy today. As we drove into the MTC and saw the welcoming committee of dozens and dozens of missionaries Jaymes noticed Megan's roommate from the past school year at USU, Sis. McGarvey and only as Jess would do she chased the car and embraced Megan. True excitement and heartwarming.  Thanks to Sis. McGarvey!

We took time to take a family picture and say a proper goodbye
full of hugs and "I love you's"!

And then she was gone!

Sister Monson you will do such a wonderful job and we are so very proud of your bravery, commitment, dedication, knowledge, happiness and testimony! Go get 'em!
